What's Happening In Malaysia?

Not sure if I'm allowed to blog during working hours. But I am feeling pretty daunted with all these political turmoils in our country, and i can't help but refreshing news, social medias, to hear about the historical verdict.

The conviction of ex-Prime minister-to summarise: 1 count of abuse of power, 3 counts of Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) and 3 counts of money laundering, all involving RM42 Million, 42 Million weyh!! The money was supposed to belong to SRC International, a sub unit under 1MDB. So imagine, if all those money banked into your account, you will immediately report the police, or go to the banks to verify, but no. These money was used for his own personal indulgence.

Okay so this blog isn't gonna make sense. I have so many questions in my head that have yet to be answered. I am so curious as fffffff because okay so who determines this verdict? The judge? Jurors? Is there possibility that he was duped and someone, a conspirator maybe who has malicious intent transferred all the money into the ex PM's accounts? Is there a slight possibility?

This is Malaysia's biggest trial or the possibility the biggest trial in the world of kleptocracy, and all this money laundering thing is not the end of it. There will be like few other trial that involves homicide of a Mongolian national. Again my question, is it possible he was duped? These are all really huge cases and the way he is posting in his social media as if he is innocent is repugnant.

Okay so for OJ's simpson's case, which was the Trial of the Century  in 1994, where his homicide case turned into a black killing white people but black people don't believe he did it so black people demand justice for OJ Simpson so here the race card was played. OJ Simpson aka The Juice (his famously known as that because of how skilled he is in American football). And in OJ Simpson's case, the verdict was really juror's decision and if you watch the show/real verdict, the judge looked disheartened by the outcome. Because i thought that judge has the absolute power in court over anyone else. But the verdict depends on the hands of some random civil servants.

I am in no way supporting the ex-PM, Im just curious how the law works in Malaysia. Maybe they have certain procedures, certain case that can be exception.

Okay nevermind ignore me, I just have scarce knowledge on law, current issues. Just letting out whatever comes in my head. I shall read more on this law stuff..when I feel like it.
